Right fielder Milton Bradley was slotted to hit second in the Cubs' lineup today -- for a little over an hour.
Manager Lou Piniella had planned to lead off with Kosuke Fukudome and have Bradley follow, but an injury to catcher Geovany Soto before the game forced yet another shake-up to the order. Ryan Theriot, who was scheduled to get the day off, is now hitting second and playing shortstop while Bradley has been dropped to fifthThursday, July 9, 2009
